The ILVE Majestic II range is engineered for precision, reliability, and everyday cooking performance. This guide explains how to properly ignite and operate the Majestic II burners, along with important safety features to understand before use.
Knowing the correct burner operation helps ensure consistent ignition, optimal flame control, and safe cooking results.
Step-by-Step Operation
Standard Burner Operation
-
Press and turn the knob.
Press in the burner knob and turn it counterclockwise to the ignition position. -
Hold for ignition.
Keep the knob pressed in for about 5 seconds to allow the burner to ignite.
Dual-Ring Burner Operation
-
Ignite the dual-ring burner.
Press in the knob while turning it to the first position. Hold it there for about 5 seconds until both the internal and external rings ignite. -
Switch between flame zones.
Turn the knob to the second position to shut off the external ring while keeping the internal ring lit. You can switch freely based on your cooking needs.
🛡️ Built-In Safety Feature:
Thermocouple-Controlled Valve
All ILVE burners are equipped with a thermocouple-controlled safety valve.
If the flame goes out due to a blowout, liquid spill, or other interruption,
the gas supply automatically shuts off to prevent unsafe gas flow.

⚠️ Important Note:
To bypass the safety valve during ignition, keep the burner knob pressed in
for at least 5 seconds. This allows the thermocouple time
to warm up and maintain gas flow.
