How To light the majestic II’s Burners
ILVE’s latest reiteration of burners have been revamped with functionality and Efficiency in mind. To fully realize their potential and avoid a common mistake, we’ll show you how to properly operate them.
Step 1: Press in the knob as you turn it counterclockwise to the ignition position. Keep it pressed in for about 5 seconds and the burner will light.
Lighting the dual-ring burner:
Step 1: Press in the knob as you turn it to the first position. Hold it there for 5 seconds and both rings will light. Moving the knob to the second position turns off the external ring, but keeps the internal ring lit. You can freely switch between using the entire burner and the internal ring.
Thermocouple-controlled fire safety valve:
In case of fire, blow out, or liquid overflow, your range burners are equipped with a thermocouple-controlled safety valve, which senses if a burner has gone out and will turn off the gas flow automatically.
PLEASE NOTE: to bypass the safety valve when lighting your burners, keep the knob held in for 5 seconds giving time for the thermocouple time to warm.
