Assembly of ILVE appliance components: quality craftsmanship for unique range cookers
In-line assembly of the components takes place after the processing stages. We use a system of trolleys that, after being placed in a row, act as a line and guide the operators through the manual assembly process. All ILVE processes are guided by lean manufacturing;
a method with the main objectives of reducing waste and maximising value for our customers.
The 6 steps to bring ILVE cooking systems to life
The in-line assembly process of components is divided into six basic steps:
- Cavity coating
- Mounting the supporting structure
- Positioning the cavity, door, and internal components
- Wiring of electrical and electronic components
- Setting up the hob and connection of the system
- Assembly of finishing elements, such as knobs, brass flame spreaders, and cast iron grills
At ILVE all products are assembled on the basis of the orders we receive from our customers. In this way, each new cooking appliance is built with the name of the customer for whom it is intended. And thanks to inventory management via barcodes, every component can be tracked to ensure timely after-sales service.
Quality and sustainability in the assembly of ILVE products
At the assembly stage, the attention, preparation, and care of ILVE’s technicians ensure a high-quality product for our customers. Inspired by the automotive industry, the load bearing frame structure of ILVE range cookers guarantees structural solidity, simplified maintenance, and optimised intervention costs. Furthermore, each component can be easily disassembled for easy recycling and disposal, confirming our commitment to sustainability and the environment.
The in-line assembly of components is of paramount importance to ensure the highest reliability and best performance of our professional home kitchen appliances. This is why the process is handcrafted and entrusted to the expert hands of ILVE technicians.
