The design of this kitchen moves away from a vision of a closed, specific room and embraces the idea of an open space that turns into a kitchen-living room: the full-height bookcase compartment lightens the perception and creates architecture through the geometrically alternating shelves.
The aesthetics looks to the Formica kitchens of the 1950s and 1960s, with a keen attention to colour, detail and the materials chosen, each with its own characteristic texture: from the mosaic tiles to the marble worktop, from the wood grain to the resin flooring.
Volumetric layout, interior organisation and choice of appliances embody the perfect relationship between functionality and aesthetics that characterises this project: the 100 cm Ilve range cooker from the Majestic collection, for example, is a professional appliance that furnishes with precious finishes. This customised Blue Grey version with copper finishes is part of the play of colours between furniture, accessories and kitchen: no less than 8 colours and 4 different finishes are available in the Ilve catalogue.
The flush-mount induction hob with 6 cooking zones is a modern and functional choice that fits in well with the idea of a contemporary kitchen setting. Colour is also in the foreground for the Noom pendant lamps and Magis stools that fit into the space with elegance and discretion, finding their perfect place in an original play of symmetries.
