Elegance and nostalgia

Vintage atmosphere for a kitchen that looks to the past, by allowing generous spaces and choosing deliberately nostalgic furnishings and colours, without sacrificing the high efficiency and performance of professional appliances.
A design of austere elegance that takes us into a Frank Lloyd Wright-style American prairie house environment: the rooms and the house are not conceived as boxes, the walls form a single enclosure of space, preserving only minor partitions. The house is habitable, airy, human-centred.
Hexagonal cement tiles on the floor, the Serge Mouille pendant lamp on the ceiling, the Leggere chairs by Gio Ponti for Cassina around the table: refined design for a bourgeois interior that looks to the Prairie School, with copper pots hanging on the walls and a colour palette reminiscent of the style of Charles Voysey’s Arts & Crafts movement.
What makes this kitchen unique is the Ilve range cooker from the Majestic collection, white with burnished finish, matching hood and steel ladle holder panel: rounded lines, handcrafted details, that perfect balance of retro flavour and technology. The choice of the 120 cm model with 7 burners and two 80 and 30 cm ovens, assumes a nearly professional use or at least highlights how the kitchen is a key element of this project.
This city flat has deliberately left out the urban context, creating a refined and timeless environment in which different souls coexist: the recovery of a fascinating past and the all-contemporary efficiency of key features, such as the Ilve appliances, in one of the most high-performance and complete versions.
